Creating Automated Review Campaigns

Updated February 12, 2026

What Are Campaigns?

Campaigns automate your review request process. Instead of manually sending individual requests, you can set up a campaign that sends messages to a group of customers on a schedule or as a one-time batch.

Creating a New Campaign

  1. Navigate to Get Reviews → Campaigns and click New Campaign.
  2. Give your campaign a name (e.g., "January Customers Follow-up").
  3. Select the target audience — all customers, a filtered segment, or a CSV upload.
  4. Choose the delivery method: SMS, email, or both.
  5. Customize your message template.
  6. Set the schedule — send immediately, at a specific date/time, or as a drip sequence.
  7. Review the summary and click Launch Campaign.

Campaign Types

One-Time Batch

Sends to all selected customers at once or at a scheduled time. Best for re-engaging past customers who have not been asked for a review.

Drip Sequence

Sends messages in stages. For example, an SMS on day 1 followed by an email reminder on day 3 if the customer has not yet left a review. Drip sequences typically achieve 2-3x higher conversion than single-send campaigns.

Monitoring Campaign Performance

After launching, the campaign detail page shows real-time metrics:

  • Sent — Total messages delivered
  • Opened — Email open rate (email campaigns only)
  • Clicked — How many recipients clicked the review link
  • Reviews Collected — Reviews attributed to this campaign
Tip: Test your campaign by sending to yourself first. Use the "Send Test" button before launching to verify the message looks correct.
