Configuring Notifications & Alerts

Updated February 14, 2026

Notification Channels

RatingsRise can alert you through three channels:

  • In-App — Notifications appear in the bell icon at the top of the dashboard. Always enabled.
  • Email — Receive notification emails at your registered email address.
  • Push — Browser and mobile push notifications. Requires enabling in your browser.

Enabling Push Notifications

  1. Click the bell icon in the dashboard header.
  2. If push notifications are supported, you will see an "Enable Push Notifications" card.
  3. Click Enable and accept the browser permission prompt.
  4. You will now receive push alerts for new reviews, campaign completions, and other events.

Notification Types

Go to Settings → Notifications to control which events trigger alerts:

  • New review received — Any new Google review
  • Negative review alert — Reviews of 3 stars or below
  • Review reply needed — Reviews that have not been replied to within your SLA
  • Campaign completed — A campaign has finished sending
  • Weekly summary — A weekly digest of your review performance
  • Goal reached — You hit a review count or rating milestone
  • SMS reply received — A customer replied to your SMS
  • Private feedback — A customer submitted private feedback

Disabling Push Notifications

To disable push notifications, click the bell icon and toggle the push switch off, or revoke the notification permission in your browser settings.

Tip: At minimum, enable alerts for "New review received" and "Negative review alert" so you can respond quickly. Fast responses improve customer satisfaction and your Google ranking.
